Irish National Championships 2019
This year’s Irish Summer National Championships took place at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th July. 993 swimmers from 126 Clubs were competing and this year Banbridge had an impressive team of 19 swimmers who have worked extremely hard all year and managed to achieve the necessary qualifying times to compete – this is some achievement in itself, for full report click here.
Irish National Championships Division 2
13 young swimmers from Banbridge Amateur Swimming Club competed in the Irish National Championships Division 2 competition which took place in the University Limerick Arena on Thursday 11th– Sunday 14th July.
A record number of 864 swimmers across Ireland were competing over the 4 days and the Banbridge squad were participating in over 20 events in what is rated as one of the most prestigious competitions in the swimming calendar, for full report click here.
