Banbridge ASC was established in 1988 and continues to grow and achieve at Regional and National Competitions. We have a fantastic group of volunteer coaches who deliver training sessions to our junior club, training 3 times a week (Sat, Sun, Wed) and senior club training 6 days a week. We also have a family feel and a merry band of behind the scenes volunteers on hand to assist with all that comes with running a successful club.

We compete in the Provincial Town League and Aqausprint League and have secured our place in the top division of each. Our swimmers are competing at various levels from development up to UAG and IAG championships. We also have Ulster Squad swimmers and Irish Youth Squad representation. This high level of achievement is testament to the coaching program and dedication of the entire team, whilst promoting good work ethic with an aim to maintain consistency of standards. Not only do we cater for high performance swimming but have a vibrant junior section with swimmers as young as 7 taking part in squad training.

Message from Head Coach

I have seen the club grow from strength to strength, since the beginning when I went to a meeting as an interested parent to support starting a swimming club in the town. I got roped in as a helper and I am still here! Our swimmers now are achieving great positions in the Teletot and Provincial town leagues and making a splash in open events. The club is thriving due to the hard working, dedicated committee , coaches & last but not least to the swimmers who are committed to training along with the continuing support of the parents.
